Conditions of Play & Local Rules
To play FootGolf at KDV Sport, Players are required to follow the conditions of play and local rules:
- Wear appropriate clothing. Indoor or turf soccer shoes. HARD CLEATS SHOES NOT ALLOWED.
- If your ball lands in a Golf green, you must pick it up and place it in the closest land point outside the green, not closest to the hole. NEVER PLAY YOUR BALL FROM A GOLF GREEN.
- Your ball should be easily identifiable.
- Review the scorecard and wait for your turn. Make sure your kick will not interfere with other players.
- The ball must be played (kicked) in a single movement with either side of your foot, the laces or by toe-kicking. You are not allowed to push the ball with the top or bottom of your foot.
- Wait to play until the ball has completely come to rest. It is not legal to stop the ball from rolling with the wind.
- Kick off your ball from a position up to two metres behind the tee markers. The player with the lowest number of kicks in the previous hole has the right to start.
- The player farthest from the hole is the first to kick the ball.
- Play the ball from where it lies. It is not allowed to move the ball or remove jammed objects. In case two balls are so close to each other that they are disturbing each other, one of them can be marked and raised.
- If the ball lands in a hazard you receive one penalty point and you must retrieve or replace the ball within 2 steps from the closest clear land point from where the ball entered the hazard.
